indians

I went to the Cleveland Indians game on Friday. It was a total blast. The weather held out and was reasonably comfortable for an April afternoon. They even won! I do have two things I'd like to see changed.
First, let's lose the cartoony indian logo. Indians are far too cool to be portrayed in that fashion. Perhaps people would protest less if we protrayed our namesake in a more dignified manner.
Secondly, we have got to stop playing the "da, da, da CHARGE" song! That was the calvary tune. If the indians had heard that song they knew there was trouble on the horizon!
Anyway, go tribe.

Be nice to poll workers

I've been doing some work recently with poll workers. They have a tougher job than I had thought in the past. They work once, maybe twice a year, the rules change nearly every time, they work very long shifts, and have to try to make everyone happy. I can't imagine how dicey it could be with lots of people coming up to you and expecting you to be the expert on something you only do once or twice a year. So, I just ask that when you go to vote next time, which I'm sure you'll do, please be nice to the poll workers!

Mr. Calco is the New renaissance Man

Many people have been asking me "who is the new renaissance man?"
Frankly, that's a tough question. You first need to define your terms and then scan the world's population. Well, I've finished. The answer is David Calco. He is smart. He has good friends. He knows a good beer from a bad beer, and he's got a swell family. So, rest easy tonight kids, David is here.
